Depersonalisation with Nite Fields - An Interview

***** Interview with Nite Fields *****

Q. When did Nite Fields started, tell us about the history...
Me and Chris started sharing ideas in 2010 but we didn't start writing together properly until I moved to Brisbane from Melbourne in 2011.

Q: Who are your influences?
I can't narrow it down that easily. Everything I hear/see/do in life can have an influence on our music not just 'XY band' and definitely not the XX band.

Q. Make a list of 5 albums of all time…
Pink Floyd - The Endless River (Non-Instrumental Version)
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless (Digitally Remastered Version)
Pet Shop Boys - The Very Best Of
Britney Spears - The Essential
Placebo - Once More With Feeling : Singles 1996-2004

Q. How do you feel playing live?
6.7/10

Q. How do you describe Nite Fields sounds?
I prefer to make music not describe it.

Q: Tell us about the process of recording the songs?
There's a small spark of something exciting that we fiddle with for far too long, discarding 99 times out of 100.

Q. Which new bands do you recommended
They're not new new, but I've recently been discovering a lot of current Russian underground bands. Fanny Kaplan, Delicate Features, Love Cult and Sonic Death make decent starts.

Q: Which bands would you love to make a cover version of?
Bronski Beat is the best contender at the moment.

Q: What´s the plan for the future....
Only god determines my future. I am a devout atheist.

Q: Any parting words?
Are we breaking up already?
